In addition to thousands of plants for sale, Milmont Green Houses also offers a Plant Rental program.  When planning the decor for your special event, what could be easier than renting plants and having them delivered and picked up?

Using plants is an easy and affordable way to decorate for weddings, receptions, open houses, parties, church events, business conferences, conventions and any other special occasion.

At Milmont, you can rent any non-blooming, indoor tropical plant (such as Palms, Ficus, Ferns, etc.) for the weekend for one low price.  No minimum rental amount required (except for delivery orders).  We even deliver and pickup!

  • Just 25% of retail price for each plant gets you an entire weekend.
  • $35 one-time Delivery & Pickup Fee on any rental to be delivered and picked up locally (includes Waynesboro, Staunton, Fishersville, Stuarts Draft). For areas beyond local deliveries, the fee will be higher. (Note: a $25 minimum rental order is required for delivery.)

(Note:  Renter is responsible for any damage done to plants while under rental.)

Milmont has a wide selection of non-flowering plants for rent.

Plants bring any room alive while adding warmth and style to the decor.  They are also inexpensive to rent for a weekend event.

Plants can be used in a variety of ways.  Below are just a few ideas on using plants in your decor.

  • Cozy up and soften a room by placing plants in the corners or along the sides.  Hanging and trailing foliage are useful for hiding or softening sharp corners of furniture or jutting walls.  Or, add a sense of height to a long wall with small trees like dracaena or weeping fig.
  • Use plants to create a focal point.  For instance, on a stage, around a lectern or for highlighting where the bride and groom will be standing at a wedding.
  • Plants can be used to screen out the more unsightly parts of a room.  Or, to filter light coming through a window.
  • If clustered in a group, vary plant heights for added interest.  Choose the heights and fullness based on the space and the height of other elements in the room, such as windows and doors.  If a certain plant isn't tall enough, place it on a decorative stool or bench.
  • Use plants to control foot traffic by encouraging people to walk around them.
