Garden Pests

Nobody likes a pest - especially when it is having a feast on your plants! This section will cover helpful hints for dealing with destructive bugs and other pesty varmits.

Slugs and snails feed on a variety of plants, leaving ragged, irregulary shaped holes in the leaves or devouring entire seedlings. Slugs and snails emerge from winter resting-places to begin feeding in the spring. Read our care sheet to find out how to deal with them.
Gardening To Discourage Deer
During a difficult winter, hungry deer will eat just about any vegetation. There is no such thing as a deer-proof plant, but you can minimize damage by growing plants least favored by deer. Read more in the attached care sheet.
